I seriously under estimated how important gloves are while detailing. Sure, detailing is a dirty sport and on the surface it stops there - I'd come home after a long day of detailing with dirt under my nails, hands dried out and cracked from working with chemical and then dirt in those cracks. "'I'll fix this by wearing gloves I thought", but then I thought about it more. Doctors wear gloves as a barrier to the unknown of what they might be touching, this saves them from any infection, diesese or anything else they may come into contact with.
As detailers, not only do we come into contact with a lot of dirt, but we also come into contact with the "unknown".
As I began to wear gloves more often I noticed one major flaw - lack of grip. Things were constantly sliding out of my hand after the gloves got wet. I needed a glove that was ribbed on the outside to keep items from slipping out of my hand.
That's exactly what these gloves are - textured latex gloves - all black of course because it just looks way cooler when you wear black gloves. Pick up a box or two and keep your hands and body protected from the "unknown", even if its your own car.
